No Surrender - Electronic/Alt-Rap project, early on the Afropunk scene, playing LES venues like Brownies, CBGB's Gallery, Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, North Six and early W'burg venues like Galapagos and North Six in the 00s, before breaking into Europe. Active from 2000 - 2012. Founding members: Darius VanSluytman, Patrick Donawa and Eddie Steeples. Other members have included producer Costanza Francavilla.
Low Wave - Synth and spoken word duo featuring myself and Chris Carr, Bushwick local celeb, and co-founder of Brooklyn Wildlife, and DIY literary venue Gamba Forest. Regularly performing on Brooklyn's spoken word and synthwave-friendly DIY venues (like The Glove and Spectrum). Two releases to date, a 2017 EP, and single. A longform video bridging our released (and some unreleased work) currently in production.
Infesticons/Majesticons - The brainchild of poet/musician Mike Ladd, one part satire, one part hip-hop re-imagined as soundtrack to the aftermath of a post-tech class war leading to dystopian paradise. The first and second records included leading indie/art-rap scensters of the 00s including El-P (Run The Jewels) and Antipop Consortium.
